Position Summary

We are in search of a seasoned Commercial/Industrial Boiler Technician to provide expert service to our diverse clientele. The role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and rectifying system issues, which includes part replacements and control adjustments for optimal performance. Technicians will also conduct maintenance and inspections for boiler compliance and collaborate with certified welders on necessary repairs. The equipment handled will primarily include commercial and industrial boilers and burners, catering to various applications.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; trade/technical school or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and servicing commercial and industrial boilers, with knowledge of advanced control systems
  • Strong familiarity with various boiler manufacturers and models
  • Expertise in boiler and burner control systems
  • Comprehensive understanding of control circuit troubleshooting and commercial HVAC systems
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, start-up, and commission new and replacement commercial boiler systems
  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on various fuel systems and boilers
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing necessary training
  • Prepare systems for inspections by certified authorities
  • Procure necessary hand tools for job execution

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position require regular communication, mobility, and the ability to lift items up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision, along with depth perception.
