IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Worldcom Exchange Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring servers, switches, and network components, as well as performing on-site installations in our Integration Lab and at client locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform customer system builds
- Custom configure out-of-the-box servers
- Install additional hardware and update firmware
- Raid, BIOS, UEFI, OOB, and OS configurations
- Rack, cable, and label servers and other related components
- Respond to, triage, and resolve technical support requests
- Perform OS installations with documentation
- Test and verify hardware and support peripherals
- Participate in the on-call rotation schedule
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Exquisite attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer service-oriented and ability to work with and resolve complex issues
- Ability to plan and arrange activities

The physical requirements of this position require the ability to walk, sit, stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and climb or balance. Additional physical requirements may require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include the ability to adjust focus, depth perception, peripheral, distance, color, and close vision. Willingness to endure on-site work in data centers for extended periods of time.
Education and/or Certifications:Ideally, a candidate should also have a bachelor's degree or further certification in a computer science-related field. IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ are preferred.
