Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator to join our team at Marion County. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing enterprise support, planning, designing, maintaining, and implementing services within a specified technical discipline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to IT employees to resolve technology development and integration issues.
  • Assist in the planning, design, maintenance, and implementation of services within a specified technical discipline.
  • Responsible for the performance, security, and operations of specific assigned systems.
  • Collaborate with IT employees to accommodate growth and expansion.
  • Ensure optimal maintenance and performance of Oracle Server infrastructure.
  • Assist with maintenance, patching, and refreshing Oracle VM environments.
  • Monitor and validate Oracle system backups and recovery.
  • Provide user administration and support software used in supporting the application and database management systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer systems or related area.
  • Two years of responsible technical experience in enterprise infrastructure related discipline.
  • Certifications in scripting for automation and management, security and compliance, and data backup and recovery.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Servers using Oracle Virtualization, specifically Oracle KVM, with VMs running Oracle Linux.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and convey technical information to non-technical persons.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced IT environment and will be required to perform assigned rotating after-hour duties.
