Job Overview

GMH Communities is seeking a highly skilled Resident Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of our properties, collecting and posting rent, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage resident database, accounts receivable, and accounts payable with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely payments and high-quality services
  • Ensure compliance with delinquency policies and procedures
  • Participate in daily property operations, including rent collection, posting, and follow-up on delinquent accounts
  • Assist with leasing activities, lease execution, resident retention events, and maintenance follow-ups
  • Provide excellent customer service, resolving resident conflicts and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in property management, hospitality, or a related field
  • Proven proficiency in property management operations, leadership, and customer service
  • Strong financial, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, word processing, and spreadsheet software
  • Basic knowledge of social media and online presence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
