Project Land Surveyor

L.A. Stevens & Associates, Inc. is a well-established professional Land Surveying firm seeking a California Licensed Land Surveyor (PLS / Survey Party Chief) interested in working as a Project Surveyor.
Responsibilities- Conduct research, field, and office work to ensure accurate and efficient project completion.
- Exhibit professionalism with a responsible and ambitious work ethic, willing to lead and take initiative.
- Collaborate closely with the Principle Land Surveyor responsible for the work to ensure seamless project execution.
- Produce high-quality work that includes simple and complex boundaries, land title surveys (ALTA), topographic mapping, least squares, adjustments, monitoring, forensic, GPS, Elevation Certificates, map preparation, legal descriptions, and construction staking.
- Ability to lift loads of 40+ pounds and work in and around poison oak.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record as reported by the Department of Motor Vehicles of the State in which the license is issued.
- Experience in finding and documenting old wood hub boundary corners and other boundary evidence for litigation.
- Flexibility to work overtime based on project needs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong skills in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective hearing and speech skills to communicate in English in person and over the telephone or two-way radio.
