Position Summary:
As we gear up for our commercial launch, we are looking for a part-time Marketing Communications Coordinator to help shape and elevate our messaging. This role is vital for managing our communication strategies, creating content, and supporting marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing our brand visibility and driving growth.

This is a part-time position (20-30 hours/week) with a hybrid work model, although a remote option may be available. Initial in-office presence is expected, with quarterly in-person meetings encouraged.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Inbound Communications:
    • Promptly and professionally respond to product inquiries and customer emails.
    • Organize and maintain our Salesforce CRM for effective communication.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Enhance and manage our social media presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
    • Design and implement social media campaigns, analyze their effectiveness, and refine strategies for improved engagement.
  • Content Development:
    • Create compelling marketing materials, including website content, email campaigns (using HubSpot), banner ads, videos, and sales documents.
    • Produce high-quality content for both short and long-form communications with a focus on clarity and style.
  • Media Relations:
    • Identify opportunities for media exposure and cultivate relationships with journalists and media outlets to promote Guardian Agriculture's insights.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Update and maintain the company website.
    • Assist with various tasks as needed, including the preparation of client proposals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • 2-5 years of experience in journalism, content strategy, copywriting, or communications.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills with the ability to create engaging content across multiple platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Innovative problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, adaptable attitude.
  • A willingness to tackle routine tasks with enthusiasm.
