Job Summary: We are seeking a part-time Marketing and Communications Specialist to help expand, shape, and amplify our messages. This role is crucial in managing our communications efforts, developing content, and supporting marketing strategies to drive growth and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inbound Communications: Respond to inbound product inquiries and customer emails promptly and professionally. Bring order and relevance to our Salesforce CRM.
  • Social Media Management: Maintain and grow our social media presence, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. Develop and execute social media campaigns, track their effectiveness, and optimize strategies for better engagement.
  • Content Creation: Write, copy, and create marketing collateral, including websites, email campaigns, banner ads, videos, sales materials, and more. Develop content for both short- and long-form communications with impeccable grammar and style.
  • Communications: Identify opportunities for media coverage and develop relationships with print and media companies to feature our perspectives in publications.
To Be Successful:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; in lieu of a degree, demonstrated capabilities are acceptable.
  • 2-5 years of experience in journalism, brand content strategy, copywriting, or communications.
  • Experience with Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong ability to develop content across various platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and flexible attitude.
