Role Summary

We are seeking a Security Operations Specialist who will be responsible for safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring the protection of classified personnel. This role involves specialized training in security protocols tailored to your clearance level, fostering both skill enhancement and professional advancement in the security sector.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Rate: $27.00 for individuals with an active SECRET Clearance
Hourly Pay Rate: $20.63 for those without clearance
Part-Time Position

Work Schedule

Standard Shift: Tuesday 2 PM - 6 PM and Wednesday - Thursday 10 PM - 6 AM

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional security services to protect personnel, property, and sensitive information.
  • Conduct thorough patrols of the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the safety of individuals and assets.
  • Maintain order and enforce site regulations to uphold the integrity of the location.
  • Welcome guests and staff, providing assistance as needed; escort visitors and contractors, and secure access points.
  • Adhere to site-specific performance guidelines and report any safety concerns or security incidents through appropriate channels.
  • Respond to security alarms and emergencies, acting as a first responder and providing first aid when necessary.
Qualifications (Essential)
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on state and local regulations.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in law enforcement, military, or armed security roles.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for obtaining the necessary government clearance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting of incidents.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related discipline.
