The Job

As a MAD Greens Team Member, you'll be enthusiastic and passionate about providing guests with the best hospitality experience possible. This position is suited for someone who enjoys working with the public and internal team members. You'll drive the MAD Greens culture of having fun and contributing to the collaborative spirit of the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome
  • Take guests' food orders and handle cash and credit transactions
  • Follow MAD Greens operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety/security
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
  • Make the availability of fresh ingredients possible on a daily basis
  • Cut, slice vegetables and fruits and store them properly
  • Rotate food items in cold storage and trash any expired items
  • Sort, chop, and store food items that need to be used for cooking purposes
  • Serve food to guests in a courteous and timely manner
  • Quickly and accurately prepare food items
  • Follow sanitation and safety procedures, including knife handling and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and ensure proper setup and/or breakdown of the entire restaurant
  • Effectively handle guest concerns and complaints
  • Work as a team to prepare the restaurant for each shift
  • Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture of Mad Greens
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Contribute to a positive team environment
Requirements:
  • Excellent guest service skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for up to 8+ hours per shift
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work with sharp kitchen tools when in a prep position
