Civil Engineering Internship Opportunity

This is a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering while working with a team of experienced professionals at WSP USA.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a full-time civil engineering intern to join our Lisle, IL office. The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program and have a strong interest in civil engineering.
Responsibilities- Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
- Learn basic principles of civil engineering and assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
- Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
- Complete training on assigned tasks and exercise responsible and ethical decision-making.
- Actively enrolled in an accredited civil engineering or related undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2025 or later.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Demonstrated interest in civil engineering and strong desire to advance skills related to WSP's work and projects.
- Competent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
