Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in their homes. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and skilled care to our patients, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal medical care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed.
  • Perform basic first aid and take vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Assist with catheter and bowel care, including I&O monitoring.
  • Provide range of motion exercises and assist with ambulation, transfer, and positioning.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current, unrestricted certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job.
