Job Summary:
Ware Presbyterian Village is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Residents with Daily Living Activities: Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and dignity.
- Respond to Resident Needs and Requests: Respond promptly to resident call lights and general needs or requests, ensuring timely and courteous service.
- Transport Patients: Safely transport residents to and from activities, appointments, and other destinations within the community.
- Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of resident rooms, common areas, and equipment, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
- Manage Supplies and Equipment: Monitor and maintain stock levels of supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate inventory and minimizing waste.
Requirements:
- Active Pennsylvania CNA Certification: Possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience as a CNA, Nursing Assistant, and/or Nurse Aide is preferred.
- CPR Certification: Possess current CPR certification or be willing to obtain it.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, ensuring effective interaction with residents, families, and colleagues.
