Job Summary:
Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the primary sterilization and decontamination of all instrumentation and equipment according to current recognized and approved standards.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of general infection control practices and be able to maintain composure under stressful conditions. You will be responsible for managing multiple tasks at one time and maintaining accurate records.


Responsibilities:
  • Primary sterilization and decontamination of instrumentation and equipment according to established standards.
  • Ensure all application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.
  • Pursue CPSPD Certification upon hire.
  • Participate in 3-month in-house training program and weekend on-call rotation.

Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • One year of healthcare experience preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $18.35 - $27.23 per hour.
