Diesel Mechanic Technician

Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various vehicle systems, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Conduct thorough inspections and obtain approvals for major repairs, guaranteeing the highest standards of quality.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Identify and report necessary maintenance, ensuring our vehicles are always in top condition.
- Accurately record work details, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
- Perform road calls and on-road repairs, providing exceptional service to our customers.
- Report any unsafe conditions and advise your lead technician, prioritizing the safety of our team and customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of our team.
- Minimum of five years of experience in heavy-duty truck fleet maintenance.
- Proven skills in diagnostics, electrical systems, and air conditioning.
- Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment is essential.
- Prior experience in fleet maintenance and familiarity with diesel and gasoline systems is required.
- Ability to possess and use hand tools for a diesel technician.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Valid state license (CDL preferred), with company-provided training.
- ASE certification is desirable.
