Senior Engine Development Specialist

OVERVIEW

  • Oversee projects focused on engine performance and emissions, specifically involving testing of gasoline and diesel engines on dynamometer setups.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct, strategize, and implement engine performance and emissions testing programs, ensuring durability and compliance.
  • Perform comprehensive thermodynamic evaluations of test outcomes related to engine performance and emissions.
  • Generate detailed technical documentation, including reports, papers, and presentations derived from testing data.
  • Examine trends in gasoline and diesel engine technologies alongside market needs.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineering staff while promoting continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical, automotive, or a related engineering discipline is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is essential.
  • In-depth understanding of internal combustion engines and associated testing methodologies.
  • Capability to identify and evaluate new business prospects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities.
  • Experience working with both gasoline and diesel engine systems.
