Role Responsibilities
  • The Controls Technician 3 is essential in ensuring the reliability of electrical and control systems crucial to our food production processes. This role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety and quality regulations.
Key Duties
  • Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on food processing machinery to guarantee peak performance.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety measures and quality standards, including adherence to company policies regarding allergens, food safety, and HACCP.
  • Keep precise records of maintenance tasks, ensuring documentation is thorough and current.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to maintain production timelines and swiftly resolve any equipment-related issues.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for effective management of work orders and documentation.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills, with a solid mechanical and electrical background, including knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and HMI systems.
  • Prior experience in the food manufacturing sector is advantageous, demonstrating an understanding of industry-specific challenges and requirements.
  • A formal education in electrical or electronic engineering technology is required, with additional skills in mechanical or plumbing fields considered beneficial.
