The Speech Language Pathologist PRN is responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to patients in a hospital setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and cognitive communication skills
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers on speech and language skills
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech therapy

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in speech pathology
  • Current license to practice speech-language pathology in the State of Colorado
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
  • At least six (6) months of experience in the acute care setting
