Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist PRN is responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to patients in a hospital setting. This role requires a strong clinical background in speech pathology, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients

Provide speech therapy services to patients, including individual and group sessions

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans

Requirements:

Master's degree in speech pathology or related field

Current license to practice speech-language pathology in the State of Colorado

Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) and achievement of clinical competencies

Strong clinical background in speech pathology, with experience in acute care settings

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, push, and pull patients as needed

Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods

Work Environment:

Hospital setting, with potential for variable noise levels and patient populations
