Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Designated Coordinator - Skills Development Specialist. This position plays a critical role in overseeing programs, activities, and scheduling, under the direction of the supervisor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating behavioral support strategies for individuals at the site. This includes developing person-centered support plans that use Positive Support principles and practices, including Person-Centered Thinking and Planning, Positive Behavior Support, and recovery-oriented mental health supports.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human services and disabilities, with a minimum of 4 years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons 65 years and older. A bachelor's degree in a field related to human services is also required.

The successful candidate will be able to work rotating or irregular hours as needed, and provide direct care as needed. They will also be responsible for providing work direction, guidance, training, and feedback to staff to ensure the highest standards of service delivery are provided to the individuals.
