Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at MelroseWakefield Healthcare. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and non-professional nursing care services to patients, under the direction of physicians and registered nurses.
  • Assist with patient flow, preparing medical records, and communicating with patients and providers.
  • Perform vital signs, collect specimens, and assist with diagnostic testing and procedures.
  • Stock and maintain supplies, equipment, and clinic rooms, adhering to infection control and cleaning policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and provide administrative support, including coordinating interpreter services and answering phone calls.
Requirements
  • Completed MA education from an accredited program or graduated within 36 months prior to the program becoming accredited.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Preferred qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent, two years of medical office experience, phlebotomy certification, bilingual skills, and experience with electronic patient record systems.
