Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team at R1 RCM Inc. in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our patient registration team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and accurately enter patient information into our computer systems
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, often on your feet, to assist patients with their registration
  • Build rapport with patients and provide exceptional customer service, addressing their fears, concerns, and questions
  • Collaborate with clinicians to ensure accurate and timely registration
  • Stay up-to-date on all vaccinations, including COVID-19 and annual flu shot, and pass a background check prior to hire
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Basic computer skills and typing proficiency
