Job Title: Construction Security Installation Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Security Installation Project Manager to join our team at M.C. Dean, Inc. in Charleston, SC.

Job Summary:

The Construction Security Installation Project Manager will be responsible for assisting clients with the bid, award, installation, and commissioning of electronic security projects for new construction projects. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the Issue for Construction (IFC) security package
  • Review bidder submittals and recommend security package awards to clients
  • Oversight of security vendors during the installation phase
  • Commissioning of security systems installed by security vendors
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 5+ years of experience
  • Master's degree in Engineering plus 3+ years of experience
  • Recent security construction experience is a firm requirement
  • Perform PM duties on construction projects
  • Maintain operational and administrative control for construction projects in the Charleston, SC area
  • Project Management experience managing teams and monitoring multiple projects at any given time
  • Experienced in up-front project involvement with engineering firms, clients, and General Contractors
  • Proven track record of successful projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking to evaluate options and directions
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to facilitate change and communicate effectively
