Job Summary:

As an EEG Technician at RWJBarnabas Health, you will be responsible for performing EEG tests when requested by a physician. This involves gathering a patient's medical history, explaining testing procedures, and preparing the patient for the procedure. During testing, you will monitor the patient's status and note any abnormalities. After testing is complete, you will report your findings to the patient's doctor for further analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather patient medical history and explain testing procedures
• Prepare patients for EEG tests
• Monitor patient status and note any abnormalities during testing
• Report findings to patient's doctor for further analysis

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• BLS certification required
• EEG Board registration
• Certified in Video Monitoring preferred
• Knowledge of neurodiagnostic tests preferred
