Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at South Austin Hospital TX on a contract basis. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • RRT or CRT certification.
  • At least one year of adult experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a 6P-6:30A shift schedule. You will work every other weekend.
