Job Summary

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Clerk to join our team at our Cenex® Zip Trip convenience store location in Billings, MT. As a Store Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a positive and efficient experience during their visit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, treating customers professionally and greeting them promptly and courteously.
  • Assist customers in browsing inventory and checking out items at the counter, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
  • Perform cashier responsibilities, including accepting payments and issuing receipts, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Display and organize products in the store to facilitate easy customer access and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Maintain the appearance of the store through dusting, cleaning, and restocking merchandise on the shelves, ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention and maintain a strong safety culture, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with preparation of displays and promotions, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging store environment.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in Retail and/or Retail Merchandising and Customer Service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work on computers with MS Office Suite and possess basic math and computer skills to operate store equipment, such as cash registers and time and record-keeping computer systems.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
