Store Clerk Job Summary

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness that provides grain, food, and energy resources to businesses and consumers worldwide. We are seeking a Store Clerk to join our team at our Cenex Zip Trip convenience store location in Billings, MT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Treat customers professionally and greet them promptly and courteously.
  • Assist customers with browsing inventory and checking out items at the counter.
  • Perform cashier responsibilities, including accepting payments and issuing receipts.
  • Display and organize products in the store to make them easily accessible to customers.
  • Maintain the appearance of the store by dusting, cleaning, and restocking merchandise on the shelves.
  • Monitor customers to assist in loss prevention and maintain a safe shopping environment.
  • Assist with preparation of displays and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in retail and/or retail merchandising and customer service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and maintain a high level of energy and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math and computer skills to operate store equipment, such as cash registers and time and record-keeping systems.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
