Role ResponsibilitiesThe Native Plant Sales Coordinator collaborates with the General Manager and Operations Manager at Heritage Growers (a division of River Partners) to facilitate the sales of native seeds, plants, and straw for habitat restoration projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating bids and designs for native seed and nursery plant sales.
- Managing plant and seed inventory effectively.
- Advising clients and project partners on optimal native seed and plant designs (training provided).
- Providing general administrative support to the Heritage Growers management team.
- Assisting with data management and preparing sales documentation.
- Supporting grant management and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Potential opportunities to assist with wildland seed collections and field activities.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with partners and collaborators.
- Proficient in common computer applications, including Excel.
- Experience in delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Interest in native seeds, plants, and habitat restoration.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration, habitat restoration, natural resource management, or a related field. Significant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Compensation and BenefitsThis is a non-exempt position with wages commensurate with experience, expected to range between $26.00 and $28.00 per hour. River Partners offers a comprehensive benefits package, including generous holidays, paid time off, flexible work arrangements, medical insurance, and a 401(k) match of up to 4% on contributions.
