About the Role

As a key member of our team, the Assistant General Manager will play a vital role in promoting a culture of excellence and delivering exceptional experiences to our residents. This dynamic individual will be responsible for leading by example, fostering a motivating environment, and ensuring that our community's interior and exterior are always impeccable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead by example, living the standards and behaviors consistent with the core values and culture of Bozzuto.
  • Financial Management: Contribute to the achievement of established financial objectives by collecting resident rent, posting rental receipts, and managing delinquency.
  • Occupancy and Retention: Achieve occupancy levels by conducting informative and personalized tours of the community, resulting in new leases, and building brand loyalty by striving to ensure every resident interaction is positive.
  • Community Maintenance: Ensure that the community's interior and exterior are impeccable, and the team appropriately represents the Bozzuto brand with a crisp, professional appearance.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Respectfully coach and mentor team members when the PM/GM is not present.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Work weekends when prospective residents are out looking for their new home, one to two weekends per month, with two days off during the week.
What You Bring to Us
  • A college degree
  • 2+ years of experience in the property management, hospitality, or retail industries
  • Exposure to rent collection processes, budgets, and account receivables
  • Proficient in leveraging industry software, apps, and computer programs
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A sharp professional appearance
