Senior Configuration Analyst for IT Asset Management

to enhance our IT Asset Management (ITAM) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee updates to the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for hardware throughout the ITAM lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and establish configuration requirements for the ITAM team.
  • Provide support for device deployment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address ITAM challenges.
  • Develop and document configuration processes, procedures, and work instructions for the ITAM team.
  • Conduct training sessions for team members on existing and new processes.
  • Enhance knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the CMDB and ITAM inventory, which includes over 18,000 devices in ServiceNow.
  • Manage the onboarding and deployment of end-user devices.
  • Oversee configuration management of ServiceNow configuration items and assets.
  • Implement process improvements for equipment returns and offboarding.
  • Coordinate international asset deployments.
  • Create tools, scripts, and processes to support current ServiceNow builds.

Your performance will be evaluated based on customer feedback, process enhancements, agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and service metric data.


Qualifications:
  • ServiceNow certification with a minimum of 3 years of experience in ServiceNow.
  • Proficient in the ServiceNow Configuration Manager Database (CMDB) module.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds related to hardware.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Hardware certification.
  • Knowledge of warehousing logistics operations and inventory management.
