Job Summary

Pape Material Handling Inc is seeking an entry-level equipment technician to join their team in Eugene. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment, including material handling and construction rental equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
  • Work under the guidance of senior technicians to build skills and knowledge
  • Assist in keeping the rental yard and equipment clean and organized
  • Perform equipment check-ins, steam cleaning, washing, and fueling
  • Perform light mechanical work, shipping, and receiving
Requirements
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Working knowledge of equipment and one or more years of experience working on equipment, preferably in the material handling or construction industry
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to frequently lift and move 50 lbs
  • Driver's license with a good driving record
