Entry-Level Equipment Technician

Papé Rents is seeking an entry-level equipment technician to join their team in Eugene. As a technician, you will work on various makes and models of material handling and construction rental equipment, including troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, and making necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on equipment under the guidance of senior technicians
  • Perform equipment check-ins, steam clean, wash, and fuel equipment
  • Help keep the rental yard and equipment clean, organized, and ready for customers
Requirements:
  • Self-starter drive who can work without direct supervision
  • Working knowledge of equipment and one or more years of experience working on equipment, preferably in the material handling or construction industry
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to frequently lift and move 50 lbs
  • Driver's license with a good driving record
