Job Title: Major Account Executive

At PTC, we are seeking an ambitious sales professional to drive new digital transformation sales opportunities amongst major, global accounts headquartered in Detroit, MI. As a Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing assigned accounts, creating a strategic pipeline of business, and strengthening long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell PTC's complete line of software solutions into Major Accounts
  • Prospect and develop accounts while maintaining existing sales
  • Drive the full sales cycle, leading multiple sales engagements and moving clients through a value-based sales process to successful close
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Forecast accurately by maintaining comprehensive opportunity profiles and communicating up-to-date information using Salesforce.com
  • Develop deeper relationships with key partners, executives, and departmental managers to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities
  • Own your account list and activity
  • Investigate and understand internal business processes of clients, strategize, present, and demonstrate tailored technology solutions
  • Become knowledgeable with PTC's portfolio of digital thread products (CAD, ALM, PLM, IIoT, AR, & SLM)
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to work remotely from Detroit, MI
  • Ability to travel quarterly to customers' engineering facilities or plants within the USA
Preferred Experience:
  • ~7 years selling enterprise-level software such as ERP, CRM, MES, etc.
  • ~5-7 years experience winning business with Automotive Customers (OEM's and Suppliers)
  • Prior sales responsibility for a minimum of $2 million in revenue and/or ARR, with a consistent, proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota
  • Ability to see how existing customer solutions can be repeated and leveraged within an industry sector
  • MEDDIC and/or Command of the Message experience a plus
