Position Overview

The Facilities Coordinator is a part-time position that supports all aspects of the Foundry's operations. This role assists the Facilities Director in overseeing general management and directing facilities-related functions across all locations, encompassing operations, maintenance, and construction.

The Foundry offers a private parking lot for employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee matters related to the Foundry's physical facilities and off-site buildings, including assessments, planning, and maintenance.
  • Support strategic and tactical planning efforts to allocate resources for current and future facilities needs.
  • Assist with all tasks related to facility planning, energy management, safety protocols, space utilization, equipment, and overall facility upkeep.
  • Manage grounds maintenance, including parking lots and walkways, while enhancing the Foundry's aesthetic appeal.
  • Supervise campus contractors to ensure effective management and outcomes.
Essential Skills:
  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience with fueling boats.
  • General facility maintenance skills (minor repairs).
  • Landscaping and lawn care.
  • Event setup (tables, chairs, waste management, etc.).
  • Boat trailer handling.
  • Strong safety awareness.
  • General sanitation practices.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office Suite).
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Familiarity with basic construction and maintenance tasks related to large facilities.
  • Experience in facilities operations and maintenance.
  • Availability for a flexible part-time schedule.
  • Valid driving record.
