Hematology Oncology Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled Hematology Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center in Danvers, MA. As a member of our Advanced Practice Team, you will provide direct care to outpatient patients and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to promote a patient-centered approach to care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to a panel of patients, including hematologic malignancies and solid tumor patient populations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab results and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Master's Degree in Nursing or completion of NCCPA program.
- Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a registered NP/PA.
- Current certification as a nurse practitioner in appropriate specialty to care for adult patients.
- 2 Years Advanced Practice experience preferred; prior hematology/oncology experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Epic and EMRs preferred.
- Familiarity with clinical trials preferred.
