We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit at Mercy Hospital Jefferson. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, night shift position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote patient safety and prevent complications.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.

QualificationsTo be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- A practical nursing degree from an accredited school
- A current LPN license in our state or the ability to obtain one within 90 days
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
- IV Certification within one year
