Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Quadrant Inc. as a Prenatal Care Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications and immunizations, and working effectively with a diverse workforce and patient base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and immunizations to patients
  • Provide education to patients on various health topics
  • Assist with ordering and maintenance of clinical supplies, onsite medications, and equipment
  • Assist with obtaining prior authorization for medications and urgent patient procedures
  • Assist with administration of Virginia state vaccine program by performing vaccine inventory and assisting with orders
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, coordinated, and patient-centered primary care
  • Respond to patient phone calls, questions, and requests for care, in coordination with medical patient care team
  • Inform patients of lab and diagnostic results and need for follow-up care
  • Assist patients in navigating the healthcare system, including coordinating appointments and procedures
  • Participate in clinic quality improvement and risk management activities
Requirements
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Virginia
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • 1+ years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • 1+ years of experience working with specialty in Prenatal, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Women's Health
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
  • Fluency in Spanish highly preferred
