Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Knute Nelson. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for administering medications, providing wound care, and monitoring patient vital signs. You will also be responsible for documenting patient information, communicating with healthcare teams, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians and document patient information
  • Provide wound care and dressings as needed
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to healthcare teams
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and families
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of Minnesota
  • CPR certification within 6 months of hire
  • Background study and clearance
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
