Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Cedar Park Group. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our students.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to students with special needs. This includes administering medications, providing first aid, and maintaining accurate health records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement school health programs to promote optimal levels of well-being in students and staff.
  • Participate in planning programs that eliminate or minimize health problems of students that may interfere with learning.
  • Maintain and review student health records and statistical information regarding the health status of students and utilization of the school health service program.
  • Communicate current health problems, needs, and concerns of students to their parents and appropriate school staff.
  • Administer medications and treatments to students as approved by School Board Policy and Virginia Nursing Law.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree - current LPN License in VA
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in Virginia. Current CPR Certification.
  • Job-related experience within the specialized field with increasing levels of responsibility required.
