Hospice Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals and their families during a challenging time.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, ambulation, and toileting
- Help maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients
- Prepare and serve light meals and snacks
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as emptying trash and changing linens
- Document patient care and progress
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance
- Current CPR certification
