Job Summary

The Senior Vice President, Account Policy Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who plays a critical role in shaping the company's accounting policies and procedures. This position requires a deep understanding of financial regulations and a strong ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and company goals.
  • Provide expert guidance on financial reporting and analysis to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to financial regulations and industry trends, and provide recommendations for updates to accounting policies and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a strong background in financial regulations and policy development.
  • CPA or equivalent certification required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience working in a financial services industry, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and industry trends.
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders who speak multiple languages.
