Sales Professional

Ascendum Machinery, a leading Volvo Construction Equipment dealer, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining a strong base of customers for heavy construction equipment and rentals within a designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the sales and rental of all Ascendum equipment lines, encompassing new and used equipment, as well as customer support programs.
- Maintain targeted company profit levels on sales and rentals.
- Ensure customers are consistently informed with the latest manufacturer's information.
- Uphold a high level of expertise in product and service knowledge.
Requirements:
- Taking positive action to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
- Completing all rental and sales contracts in a timely manner.
- Reporting competitive market data.
- Frequently visiting customer facilities and job sites to investigate current and future equipment needs.
- Continually developing assigned sales territory and increase customer base.
- Attend sales training to remain adequately informed of Ascendum products and services.
Physical Demands:
- While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The position requires the ability to sit for long periods.
- Ability to operate office equipment such as computers, keyboards, and telephones.
- Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for tasks such as typing, filing, and handling paperwork.
- Visual acuity and ability to read and interpret documents.
- The position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
