Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Technician position at Regal Rexnord is responsible for inspecting products to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards. This role involves performing a variety of quality control tests and inspections on products, materials, components, and parts at various stages of the production process.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality control tests and inspections on products, materials, components, and parts
- Document non-conformances and work with associates to implement corrective and preventive actions
- Calibrate measurement devices and verify dimensional tolerances
- Conduct audits and analyze data to identify corrective and preventive improvements
- Read and interpret drawing requirements and make sound determinations of inspection methods and equipment
- Use inspection equipment to determine product acceptance
- Initiate and complete quality-related records and documents
- Participate in process and department improvement discussions
- High school or GED
- Minimum 3 years of quality experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing setting
- Basic knowledge of ASME-Y14.5 (Geometric Tolerance)
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques used to verify product conformity
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Ability to read and calibrate gauges
- High-level verbal and written communication skills
