Job Summary

The Quality Technician position at Regal Rexnord is responsible for inspecting products to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards. This role involves performing a variety of quality control tests and inspections on products, materials, components, and parts at various stages of the production process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality control tests and inspections on products, materials, components, and parts
  • Document non-conformances and work with associates to implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Calibrate measurement devices and verify dimensional tolerances
  • Conduct audits and analyze data to identify corrective and preventive improvements
  • Read and interpret drawing requirements and make sound determinations of inspection methods and equipment
  • Use inspection equipment to determine product acceptance
  • Initiate and complete quality-related records and documents
  • Participate in process and department improvement discussions
Requirements
  • High school or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of quality experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing setting
  • Basic knowledge of ASME-Y14.5 (Geometric Tolerance)
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques used to verify product conformity
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Ability to read and calibrate gauges
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills
