Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Specialist to join our team. As a Housekeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for performing housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing and disposing of trash. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions, adhering to all safety precautions, and reporting equipment and cleaning product needs to your supervisor.
Responsibilities- Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing and disposing of trash.
- Ensure the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions, adhering to all safety precautions.
- Report equipment and cleaning product needs to your supervisor in a timely manner.
- Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Respond to the paging system in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
