Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative

This role is hosted by Dana Stark, a seasoned professional in the insurance industry.

We are one of the largest independent insurance agencies in California, providing all lines of insurance to a diverse group of clients throughout the U.S.

As a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our commercial insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Interaction
    • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing information and assistance related to commercial insurance policies.
    • Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Policy Management
    • Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals accurately and efficiently.
    • Ensure all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
  • Quoting and Proposals
    • Assist in preparing quotes and proposals for new and existing clients.
    • Collaborate with underwriters to obtain competitive pricing and coverage options.
  • Claims Assistance
    • Guide clients through the claims process, providing support and follow-up to ensure timely resolution.
    • Coordinate with claims adjusters and underwriters as needed.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and organized client files and records.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Account Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
    • Conduct periodic reviews of client accounts to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with producers, account managers, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in commercial insurance, customer service, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
