Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Chemistry Instructor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As an Adjunct Professor of Chemistry, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses in Chemistry, including General Chemistry, Introductory Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses in Chemistry, including General Chemistry, Introductory Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments to promote student learning and success.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and departmental records.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and professional peers to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Possesses at least a master's degree in the field of Chemistry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in higher education teaching is strongly preferred.
