Position Overview & Job Duties:

Note: Adjunct positions at UCO are part-time teaching positions. This posting is to create a pool of interested applicants from which the Department may draw as sections become open at any point in the current academic year. This posting may or may not result in the hiring of adjuncts.

Adjunct Faculty - provides a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis. Adjunct faculty reports to a dean or chair and performs instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies and procedures of the college. The relationship of the adjunct faculty member to the student is one of teacher and facilitator of learning.

  • Classes may be available in Graphic or Interior Design, depending on qualifications and semester class offerings.

The College of Fine Arts and Design is a center of excellence for the arts and design, as well as a locus of innovation for improving and promoting arts education. The College of Fine Arts and Design currently has six academic units, the Department of Art, Department of Dance, Department of Design, Department of Theatre Arts, School of Music and the Academy of Contemporary Music and specialized accreditations from National Association of Schools of Music (NASM), National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA).
