About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Meineke. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, assisting senior technicians, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Tasks: Conduct oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements to meet Meineke's high-quality standards.
  • Assist Senior Technicians: Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
  • Follow Safety Guidelines: Follow Meineke's standard operating procedures and safety guidelines while handling tools, equipment, and vehicle systems.
  • Conduct Routine Inspections: Conduct routine inspections and assist in basic repairs on brakes, suspension systems, exhaust systems, and other automotive components.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of services performed, including parts used, labor hours, and vehicle conditions, ensuring compliance with Meineke's documentation standards.
  • Communicate with Customers: Collaborate with senior technicians and service advisors to effectively communicate vehicle issues, repair recommendations, and estimated costs to customers.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Uphold Meineke's commitment to customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing customer concerns professionally.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous Experience or Technical Training: Previous experience or technical training in automotive repair is preferred.
  • Basic Understanding of Automotive Systems: Basic understanding of automotive systems and components required.
  • Familiarity with Diagnostic Equipment: Familiarity with diagnostic equipment used in automotive repair.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Physical Stamina: Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
Compensation

$40.00 per hour
