At Recovering Hope Treatment Center, we're dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive. As an Early Childhood Development Specialist, you'll play a vital role in shaping young lives and supporting families on their journey to recovery.
About the RoleWe're seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Daycare Teacher. In this role, you'll provide high-quality care and education to children while helping their mothers navigate recovery from substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead engaging activities and educational lessons to promote children's growth and development
- Provide loving care during mealtimes, personal care routines, and daily interactions
- Observe and document each child's progress to ensure their emotional, social, and physical needs are met
- Create a safe space by maintaining classroom safety and being a positive role model
- Collaborate with parents to support their parenting journey and offer guidance on Saturdays
- You're 18+ years old with a High School diploma/GED
- You've completed 24 credits in a child care-related field and experience as an assistant teacher, preferred but not required
- You're able to lift children (up to 60 lbs.) and enjoy moving, playing, and connecting with kids throughout the day

What We Offer- A competitive salary of $16.00 - $22.50 per hour, plus a $1 weekend shift differential
