Early Childhood Educator

Recovering Hope Treatment Center seeks a compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our dedicated team. As an essential member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.

About the Job:

• Salary: $19.50 - $24.75 per hour ($1 shift differential for weekend shifts)
• Location: Mora, MN

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and experience working with young children. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing engaging educational activities, supervising children during daily routines, and maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards
2. Supervise and engage children during various activities, including meals, outdoor play, and rest periods
3. Maintain accurate records of each child's growth and development
4. Ensure the classroom is well-maintained and equipped with necessary materials and supplies
5. Serve as a positive role model for children and colleagues alike
6. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all policies and procedures

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent required; Child care-related degree preferred
• 24 credits in a child care-related field with 4,160 hours of experience as an assistant teacher
