Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Operations in Residence. This one to two-year residency program is designed to prepare aspiring leaders to oversee the ongoing operations of a KIPP Nashville school, working closely with the Head of School Operations and Chief Operating Officer. As a Director of Operations in Residence, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in school operations, leadership, and management, while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our students and staff.

Responsibilities

The Director of Operations in Residence will be responsible for driving outcomes as a member of a successful school operations team, engaging in professional development and shadowing opportunities, and completing a residency roadmap. Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • School-Wide Operational Systems, Events, & Communication
  • Attendance Strategy and Management
  • Student Information & Data Management
  • Technology and Assessment
  • Student Recruitment & Enrollment
  • School Operations Support
  • Transportation and Food Services
  • Finance
  • Building Management
  • Other
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • Three or more years of work experience, preferably in K-12 school operations
  • Experience working with under-resourced communities, families, and/or students
  • Experience managing and influencing teams and individuals to meet specific and strategic outcomes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Google applications
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, and a robust benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance policy options. Additionally, you will receive a 3% stipend as part of the residency program. You will also have access to a laptop computer and internet access to assist you in performing your job responsibilities.
